The NEIC Initiative, in partnership with Dublin City Council, is inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced childcare providers for the operation of a School Age Childcare (SAC) service at Ballybough Community Centre, Dublin 3.
The opportunity relates to a dedicated childcare facility located at the rear of Ballybough Community Centre. The facility currently operates as a childcare service and offers an opportunity for an experienced provider to establish, manage and deliver a high-quality, inclusive and sustainable School Age Childcare service for local children and families.
The proposed service will provide School Age Childcare for children aged 4 to 9 years, subject to final operational arrangements and regulatory requirements. The successful applicant will be expected to work collaboratively with local schools, families, community organisations and other stakeholders in supporting children and families in the North East Inner City community.
Preference may be given to providers that can demonstrate:
Experience in delivering childcare services
Strong governance and operational capacity
Experience of community-based service delivery
A commitment to positive outcomes for children, families and the wider community
Eligibility: Applicants must be existing Tusla-registered childcare providers and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Expression of Interest documentation. Supporting documentation will be required as part of the application process.
Site Visits: Interested organisations are strongly encouraged to visit the premises before submitting an application. Photographs of the facility are also available on request for those unable to attend in person.
