Young Women’s Education Programme – Information and Registration DayThursday 30th May 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 at Marino College, 171 North Strand Road

Are you a lone parent aged 18-30 looking to get back in to the workforce? Take the first step into your new adventure and come join our course free of charge, with help and support along the way.

The Young Women’s Education Programme is a personal and professional development programme for young women 18 – 30 who are parenting alone. There are 30 participant places available in the North East Inner City. The programme begins on Thursday, June 6th with an Induction Day. From Wednesday, June 12th through to Thursday, June 27th the Programme will run a Young Women Into Technology programme every Wednesday and Thursday from 9:45 to 12:45. There are no classes in July or August, in line with the primary school calendar.

From September 10th, classes will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:45 to 12:45. We’ll ensure the women’s childcare needs are taken care of, without any cost or inconvenience to them.

YWEP will run over 2 years, from September to the end of May of each year. June 2020 and June 2021 will include one month’s work experience which the Programme will help the women to secure by way of CV and interview preparation and one-to-one coaching.
