WHAT is it?
An opportunity to sail on a Tall Ship. This opportunity is funded with support from Dublin City Council and the North East Inner City (NEIC) Programme Office.
WHAT HAPPENS on a voyage?
This is a 7 day residential all-inclusive voyage
The applicant gets to experience all aspects of sailing the ship under the close supervision of the professional crew.
From climbing the rigging, setting the sails to navigating and steering the ship.
You will see our beautiful coastline from a different perspective.

HOW do you get involved?
You are eligible to apply for these voyages if you are resident or engaging in services within the North East Inner City NEIC.
As a local community group, you become a nominating organisation with Sail Training Ireland. Which enables you to nominate young people you feel would benefit from this experience.
WHEN are the Voyages?
Irish Sea Explorer 14-17yrs Dublin to Dublin 26th June-2nd July 2024
Irish Sea Explorer 18+ Dublin to Dublin 16th June –21st June 2024
Participant contribution: €50 per person
The voyages will depart from and return to Dublin calling at various ports along the way such as Belffast, Scotland, the Isle of Man or Wales.
