The NEIC initiative is funding a recovery coaches training programme, run by the Recovery Academy Ireland. The six coaches began their placements in late January 2020 and within a few week their worlds were turned upside down by Covid-19. The attached booklet is the remarkable story of how the coaches have coped with the national shutdown. It is a story of resilience, imagination, generosity and great wisdom. It details how the coaches, in the middle of a pandemic, have turned their own struggles into practical and accessible solutions for others. By sharing their experience, they hope to help identify some small things that others can apply to help them cope better through Covid-19.
