Dublin City Council is urging the general public to report stockpiling of bonfire material. The Council will carry out dozens of stockpiling raids removing bonfire material across the city between now and Halloween as part of its drive to promote a safe Halloween that all the community can enjoy.

In 2017 Dublin City Council successfully removed 450 tonnes of bonfire materials citywide during the Halloween period in response to over 300 reports of stockpiling from the public.
