No. 45 Croke Villas will feature an exhibition of photographs taken prior to and during the demolition by photographic artist Jeannette Lowe in a setting that has been re-created as it was in the 1960’s. No. 45 is the last remaining block of flats due to be demolished early in 2019 making way for a new social housing on the site.
This project has been selected by Totally Dublin as one of their five highlights (of 170 events) on the 2018 Open House Dublin Programme.
Other key NEIC locations featuring in Open House Dublin 2018 are Belvedere House and Busáras / Áras Mhic Dhiarmada
The photographic project was funded by the NEIC Programme Office in 2017 and the Open House project is also funded by NEIC.
