Newcomen cottage at Mud Island

The 28th of July saw the official opening of the newly refurbished Newcomen cottage at Mud Island by Dublin's Lord Mayor Caroline Conroy.

In 2013, the garden was just getting started and has now come a long way with the addition of Newcomen cottage

The Mud Island community garden is a fantastic achievement and is largely thanks to the local people who focus on growth, creation.

Opening Hours: Mud Island is normally open on Tuesday and Saturday afternoons for gardening, with more frequent opening hours in the Summer months, and welcomes visitors.
