A seminar about Art & Play and Placemaking, and the recent work of writer Nathan O'Donnell commissioned by Dublin City Arts Office.
About this Event
The seminar marks the launch of a publication, This Being Where We Play edited by Nathan O'Donnell and designed by Clare Bell. It was produced out of a project, Streetwork, commissioned by Dublin City Arts Office and the Arts Council across 2018-19, focused on Liberty Park. To mark its publication, this seminar will draw upon ongoing workThe LAB has been doing in relation to Liberty Park, most notably a related project from 2018, Playing Up. It will present our learning from these projects and extend the discussion by inviting together speakers from different fields: art, architecture, placemaking, public policy, and socially-engaged arts practice and creative children as agents of place-making.
