Funding applications of up to €2,500 are now open to community groups who wish to host activities or events in Liberty Park, Dublin 1. Funding is available to community groups, clubs, voluntary organisations, tenant/resident associations, and not-for-profit organisations to deliver inclusive activities within the park. Examples of eligible activities include but are not limited to:
Community tea parties
Family picnics
Sports days
Cultural activities
Wellness and fitness sessions
Environmental activities
Children and youth engagement activities
Intergenerational events
Arts and music activities
If you have any queries regarding the application form, contact us at NEIC@dublincity.ie. The deadline for applications is 24th June 2026. Applications will be reviewed and applicants will be informed of the outcome in early July. Innovative or unique proposals that demonstrate strong community benefit are encouraged and project activities must be completed within 2026. We also welcome collaboration applications with other Community groups and organisations.
