The research project to assess the community health needs of Dublin’s North East Inner City has officially been launched by researchers at the RCSI School of Population Health in partnership with the NEIC Initiative.
Led by Professor Breda Smyth at RCSI, the aim of the NEIC-Health project is to produce a comprehensive, evidence-informed assessment of health needs in the North-East Inner City, together with the local community, to support equitable planning and targeted resource allocation
The project is funded by and will be delivered in partnership with the NEIC Initiative. The research team will also be working closely with community organisations, local residents, community members, service providers and other stakeholders.
This project is being done with and for the community, with community voices at the heart of the project.
