The NEIC Community Grants Scheme 2026 is now OPEN!
This year's theme is Community Togetherness & Wellbeing: focusing on bringing people together, supporting shared activities, strengthening social bonds, and creating welcoming, vibrant local space.
The grants will focus on providing financial assistance to residents, voluntary groups, and clubs across the community and voluntary sector who wish to implement projects of this nature.
Projects eligible for full or part funding include:
Community fun days, intergenerational events, and neighbourhood gatherings
Wellbeing programmes such as workshops, health promotion sessions, and resilience activities
Engagement programmes such as workshops, and creative expression workshops
Environmental or greening initiatives such as planting and gardening
Community art, murals, shared creative projects and cultural activities
Applications will be accepted by e-mail or paper application delivered to the NEIC Programme Office by 12:30pm on Friday 22nd May 2026. Incomplete, unsigned or late applications will not be considered.
If you need help with your application, we are hosting support clinics at Charleville Mall Library, North Strand Road, Dublin 1. The support clinics will take place on 7th May from 10am-12pm, 13th May from 2pm-4pm, and 16th May from 11am-1pm.
