Wishing best of luck to the 20 young people from the NEIC secondary schools starting a summer work placement in various Funds Industry companies. 6 Post Primary Schools participated in the Programme (O’Connell’s; Mount Carmel; St Joseph’s; Rosmini CS; Marino College; Larkin Community College) and all schools have had students placed on the Programme. All students attended a workshop on 31st May 2019 to assist them in preparing for their placements. The Programme has been coordinated by Business in the Community (BiTC) https://www.bitc.ie/ A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) detailing what is expected of participants was also provided to all students which they discussed with their parents / guardians and then co-signed along with the Programme Coordinator. Work placements to commence on July 1st 2019.
