Share

The classic cult movie “Blues Brothers” celebrates 44 since its original release in 1980. The musical movie tells the tale of Jake Blues and his brother Elwood renuite their old blues band following a release from prison to save the Catholic home where the two were raised.

The brothers are on a “Mission from God” and outrun the police as they tear through Chicago. Here in Dublin the “Blooze Brothers” 11 piece band will play in Ivy Church (St Columba’s Church – Church of Ireland, Waterloo Avenue, North Strand Road, Dublin 3) on Saturday the 18th of May for one night only.

From the northside of Dublin via downtown Chicago, this 11 piece band (9 of the 11 musicians live in the NEIC) featuring Jake and Elwood Blooze and accompanied by the amazing Soul Sisters play all the hits of the Soundtrack of the iconic Blues Brothers Movie plus a few surprises. We guarantee a fantastic night out for music and party lovers of all generations.

The band has become a staple of the Irish music scene, playing sold-out shows at some of the country’s most iconic venues. They have toured extensively throughout Europe bringing their electrifying live show to audiences across the continent.
