Fire Station Artists’ Studios presents ‘Artists Talk Screening – A Dive into Artists’ Lives by Dublin 1 Students’, the screening of a film realised by local students, in The LAB.
The 40-minute film is the result of a pilot project programmed by Fire Station Artists’ Studios, in partnership with the NEIC City Connects programme, and funded by NEIC. The FSAS Film Club was set up with local 6th class students, who learned about filmmaking techniques and roles. The workshop series was facilitated by multidisciplinary artist John Conway and assisted by Digital Media Artist Ala Buisir.
The film is a documentary about artists using the facilities or living in Fire Station Artists’ Studios, through the lens of the students who realised it.
Artists Talk premiered at the Light House Cinema in February and will be presented in The LAB, Dublin 1, on 10th June @ 2PM for Cruinniú na nÓg 2023
The screening will be followed by a Q&A session led by the artists John Conway and Ala Buisir.
