Providing Sail Training Opportunities for people from the North East Inner City

WHAT is it?

An opportunity to sail on a Tall Ship. This opportunity is funded with support from Dublin City Council and the North East Inner City (NEIC) Programme Office.

WHAT happens on a voyage? 

No experience is necessary.

• This is a 7day residential all-inclusive voyage

• The applicant gets to experience all aspects of sailing the ship under the close Supervision of the    professional crew.

• From climbing the rigging, setting the sails to navigating and steering the ship.

• You will see our beautiful coastline from a diferent perspective.

• Experience a sailing adventure at sea

• An unforgettable life-changing experience!

• Opportunity to explore many career paths

HOW do you get involved?

• You are eligible to apply for these voyages if you are resident or engaging in services within the   North East Inner City NEIC.

• As a local community group, you become a nominating organisation with Sail Training Ireland. Which enables you to nominate young people you feel would benefit from this experience.

Irish Sea Explorer 18+ Dublin to Dublin 20th June –26th June 2022

Participant contribution: €50 per person
