Join Dublin North Inner City Learning Neighbourhood Trail.
The Learning Neighbourhood Trail is the perfect opportunity to visit the oldest working public library in Dublin City. Charleville Mall Library first opened its doors in January 1900 – and this year celebrates 122 years serving the community in the north-east inner-city.
During your visit to the library you can view our exhibition on the Bombing of the North Strand, which took place 81 years ago in May 1941 – and you can even hold a piece of the bomb that caused all the destruction.
