Central Area Headquarters, Dublin 1
20 August 2020
The Irish Computer Society will train 120 young women between the ages of 19 and 29 in one of 6 digital roles, relevant to employers in Dublin, who have a commitment to diversity and social responsibility.
This project is aimed at Women between 18 and 29 years.
A clear description of each role is available, as well as a detailed, customisable, training roadmap.
The training time will be 160 hours, delivered locally by professional trainers, and face to face as far as is possible in current circumstances, but contingencies are in place if that is not possible. Support for the young women who participate will be provided by an ICS mentor, who will work in liaison with the trainers.
Recruitment for participants is currently ongoing and a number of webinars are scheduled that give a short overview of the programme (register here).
