We Only Want the Earth is a 12-month programme of awards, exhibitions, and events that seeks to interrogate the goals and strategies of social change: what kind of society do we want and how should we get there?
The award is in partnership with Create the national development agency for collaborative arts and Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI) and is open to trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming artists.
The award provides material support (€4,290.00) to the successful applicant in the form of a monthly stipend, and artist fees, an additional budget (up to €1,000) towards their exhibition costs, as well as in kind support such as mentoring, technical support and access to facilities.
The closing date for applications is Monday 18th January at 5pm.
