Following the highly successful Halloween Festivals in 2016, 2017 and 2018 drawn from Ballybough, Sheriff Street and Sean McDermott Street, The Big Scream Festival 2019 is seeking to increase its representation and participation of local residents both in organising and delivering the festival. We are looking for a competent Volunteer Coordinator to mobilise, recruit and manage local volunteers.
With a substantial number of arts and community projects operating in the inner city and with the vibrancy of young people engaged in their neighbourhoods, this Festival is an occasion for celebration and artistic expression. This festival is overseen by a Steering Committee drawn from projects and organisations active in the area.
This is an opportunity for a dynamic and competent person, with energy and enthusiasm to be involved and contribute to a vital new force in one of Dublin’s oldest and most remarkable communities.
