Dublin City Heritage Week Programme

The Dublin City Heritage Week Programme will be taking place from August 17th to 25th. There will be a range of events happening in and around the NEIC during the week.

One event happening in the NEIC is the Red Lights and Revolution tour. Take a walk back in time with Terry Fagan through the streets steeped in history of a once famous Red-Light District once known as, “Monto” Hear the stories of its famous Madams and pimps who ran the Red Light district and the prostitutes known as ‘The Poor Unfortunates’ and other exciting stories. On the tour is a visit to our little tenement museum full of tenement artfacts, we are located on Railway Street Dublin 1.
