Creative Arts Free summer courses
Creative Arts Summer School: This is a virtual creative arts programme taking place over 7 days from 14 - 24 June in 7 colleges in Dublin and Cork. Applicants should be aged 16+ As well as engaging in practical workshops, we will have talks and information on access supports, financial grants, learning and disability supports and creative career guidance. Students who have come into college through access pathways will speak about their journey to college.
It is completely free and all art materials are supplied to successful applicants. I have attached the brochure with details of the participating colleges and the workshop programme. Portfolio Preparation Scholarship Programme: NCAD Access offers a number of free places on the NCAD portfolio preparation course. Applicants should be aged 16+. NCAD's Portfolio Preparation Course will take place over three weeks, from late July to August 2021. The course will run from 10 - 4pm each day and full attendance is required. This may be of interest to anyone considering applying to CAO in January 2022.
Interested candidates should complete the online application form and submit examples of their work. Successful candidates will be informed by email.
